Hungarian pheasant (Phasianus colchicus colchicus)
Our Hungarian strain is a medium-weight colchicus type, characterized by its green-grey back, light cherry-colored breast, white ring, and green head. This pheasant is sporty, highly agile in flight, and well-muscled. It is very active in hunting situations yet remains calm and easy to handle during rearing.
- Cock: 1.3–1.5 kg
- Hen: 1.0–1.2 kg
Mongolian (Phasianus colchicus mongolicus)
Our Mongolian strain is a classic large-sized pheasant, featuring a dark cherry breast, red back, and white ring. This type is larger than the Hungarian pheasant but equally energetic and highly sought after in traditional hunting areas.
- Cock: 1.7 kg
- Hen: 1.3 kg
